dude just go to the intel download centre...enter ur board no.. ur chipset line ...ur operating system....and then hit driver...u'll see alist ...scroll sown and u will see a IME driver...just install it...

What I want to know is the use of the ME firmware and driver and if it's useful for me.

Thanks, I guess I don't need it then.
The only thing that concerns me is that without installing the ME driver, one device (in the Windows device manager) doesn't have its driver but since I don't use it I think it's OK.
