Same problem here, I spend a whole weekend on this issue and thought I had a hardware problem. But then I downgraded the driver to the previous version and everything started to work flawlessly. I think there must be a bug in the latest version.
Glad your problem was resolved with software. I had to replace the motherboard --tried downgrading the drivers, but it didn't help. Then, after yet another clean install I connected the TV before even installing the intel drivers, only with windows. That comlpetely messed up the system (i guess the issue had run its course) -- it wouldn't even post Bios anymore -- no matter what monitor I connected to it. So, new mobo, and it works like a charm. Now, of course I want a new TV;-)
I guessing there must have been an electrical problem with the mobo hdmi connector.
Where did you got the old driver version? Having the same issue, wanna give it a try...
Just use the download center as usual and sort by date. Go down until you find version 184.108.40.2061.
Ok! Found it!
Many, many thanks!
Gonna try it and post here the results!
Everything worked great!
Thanks a lot!
Same here with ICH5 i3 540, i think it´s a bug in thr new Driver. What i don´t understand is that Intel let the new Version online... thats a shame
Same Exact thing. Newest driver bsod and if it does boot into the system, it flickers like crazy.
To Original Poster: after you replaced the motherboard does the latest drivers work fine???
If so I wonder if we have faulty Mobos...cus the newest driver should work right?I have a H67 board with i3-2100. Its my HTPC.
Haven't had time to upgrade the drivers with the new motherborad yet. Been testing the system (running steady for several days now) with the drivers that came with the mobo CD (the Intel graphics driver is two rev. older than the current 2321 version, i believe).
Planing to start upgrading the drivers this weekend and will post updates.
i7-2600, Intel DH67CL board, HDMI interface to display. No way to upgrade to the latest driver (crash), previous one OK.
(all other drivers up to date)
well the latest driver i get blue screen of death
the second to newest screen flickers
only the one from drivers disk works
anyone talk to intel on this issue
ithought i was the only one
Thanks for posting back when you get a chance to try newer drivers.
Even the old one, after the computer goes to sleep and wakes up I get flickering. If I restart its fine.
I am going to test to see maybe the MB is grounding. I just want to get this solved! So annoying.
Thanks for putting this post up- i HOPE INTEL READS THESE POSTS.
FIXED: Grounding Issue.
After doing some research I found that if there is a shiny ring on top of your motherboard don't use a cardboard washer. Well this board did not have one on the top, but it was on the underside of the board.
I recommend mounting your motherboard on the pink anti-static foam for testing ONLY and see if that fixes your problem like it did for me.
Long story short: Adding a nylon or cardboard washer fixed my bsod with the newest driver. Everything works Perfect.
I hope this helps. Very weird how the old driver worked fine without the washer? Maybe new driver added voltage which in turn caused the problem.
GRR....It does run with newest driver. But now when it comes out of S3 Sleep I get black flashes on the screen..I am returning this damn board. New one best work!,
