My office is starting to use LG L177WSB Flatron LCD Monitor with Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L v1.x (G31 Intel onboard VGA). Too bad the latest graphic driver from Intel could not set its native resolution 1440x900, other non native resolution such as 1600x900 or even higher is supported. Is this a bug?
Could Intel updated its driver to support LG L177WSB LCD Monitor with its native resolution which is 1440x900?
I've tried using other monitor Dell 17" LCD Monitor and it could run 1440x900 (native resolution too). It's only using LG L177WSB 17" LCD Monitor the driver could not set to its native resolution.

I had the same problem before, so i explore on any possibility, and finally found a way that work.
Right click on your desktop, choose graphics properties...
go to display setting, set your refresh rate to 75 Hertz
and voila, appear 1440 x 900 on screen resolution option.
hope that could help.
