I bought a 2500K for the specific purpose of overclocking it. I can change the multipler but I do not want to do so. I am trying to only change the voltage and core limit ratios in order to have the OC kick in when CPU is under heavy use. Below is my system specs and info I see in BIOS:
i5 2500K
MSI P67A-GD65
MSI Twin Frozr II 570GTX
120GB Intel 510 SSD/1 TB Samsung HD
2x4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws SDRAM DDR3 1600
NZXT H90 850W ATX 12V v2.2, EPS 12V v2.91 80 PLUS GOLD
Cooler Master Gemini II Heatsink/CPU Fan
I am unable to modify the following settings within the BIOS(1.8):
Long duration power limit
Long duration maintained (already set to 1000)
Short duration power limit
Primary plane turbo power limit (set to 0 and can't change)
1-core ratio limit (set to 37 and can't change)
2-core ratio limit (set to 36 and can't change)
3-core ratio limit (set to 35 and can't change)
4-core ratio limit (set to 34 and cant change)
I wish to be able to leave the multiplier alone but change ratio limits yet this seems not to work. I was on the MSI forum follwoing another users guide and he was able to do just that. Can someone please shed some light on this? Thanks in advance!

BTW, if I change the multipler within the BIOS the core limit does not change. Is this a MOBO issue or is my processor locked?
