    Can not initialize new VD on Raid Controller

      I want to initalize a new virtual Drive on my Raid controller.

      The Dashboard says : Configured Capacity: 407.918 GB and Unconfigured Capacity 930.391GB

      The Configured Capacity is a Raid5 drive, the Unconfigured is a new 1TB HDD (single Drive).

      There is a option "Create virtual drive" in the dashboard but this option is not enabled. When i look in the log file i get following message for the HDD:

      ID = 43
      SEQUENCE NUMBER = 18832
      TIME = 06-03-2011 18:44:44
      LOCALIZED MESSAGE = Controller ID:  0   Unexpected sense:   PD       =   Int.Ports 0-3:1:5 - Invalid field in CDB,   CDB   =    0x4d  0x00  0x4d  0x00  0x00  0x00  0x00  0x00  0x20  0x00     ,   Sense   =    0x70  0x00  0x05  0x00  0x00  0x00  0x00  0x0a  0x00  0x00  0x00  0x00  0x24  0x00  0x00  0x00  0x00  0x00

      Can someone tell me somethink about this message? How can i create a new virtual drive with this hdd?

      I have the same server with the same components and configuration runnung without any problems.

      Thanks for you help
