Replacing motherboard while keeping RAID 1 array working

      Hi all!

My G33TL motherboard died today, so I have to buy new motherboard. Candidate is DG45ID, as it is the only option with the same functionality in the market.

I had RAID 1 array on G33TL, is it possible to connect these disks to ports 1 and 2 (I don't exactly remember to which ports discs were connected)? In other words, would DG45ID determine that those 2 disks were in RAID 1?

If motherboard will not be able to determine RAID, and I will combine both disks in RAID 1 again, will data be lost, or RAID should continue to use existing RAID data?

      Thanks for the answers!
