I've got this old computer based on an old D845GVM motherboard which works fine but its hard drive got fried. I want to find a driver for its network card which would allow me to use its PXE capabilities, if any, in order to use this computer as a diskless station.
I have tried to locate the needed drivers to no avail.
I would like someone to point me in the right direction.
Note: After too much digging I have found the BIOS version to be v6.00PG Award BIOS.
Do you know if your motherboard has an Intel(R) Network Connection built in? You can try downloading the web pack for your operating system from the list at http://www.intel.com/support/network/sb/CS-006120.htm. The web packs include all the drivers the OS you choose, so if you have an Intel(R) Network Connection, the driver will probably be there. If the network connection is based on a non-Intel controller, then the Intel download will not help.
