Upgrade Processor compatibility

Hi,

I just wanted to know if i may have issues upgrading processors, from a

Pentium 4 1.60 GHz, ? bus, on a ACPI-compliant system

to a

Pentium 4 2.80c GHz, 800MHz bus, 512 L2 cache?

Win XP pro SP2

I would recommend contacting the motherboard manufacturer so they can provide you a list of fully compatible processors for your motherboard, that way you can confirm if that processor is supported by your motherboard.
