I've got a Toshiba Satellite Pro L350. I'm trying to to get it to output to an HDTV via VGA. At any resolution above 1600x900 the TV displays the no pc connection screen. I'm assuming it is because although the TV can handle it the sissy mobile graphics cannot. First question, is my assumption correct? I've got the latest (2008) intel drivers.
If question one is yes here is the background for question two. Seeing as I'll never achieve 1080 resolution I don't mind settling for 720 and then streching it. However, for a reason I cannot figure out the 1280x720 resolution is pushed to the right. I've got about an inch of black on the left and an inch of missing display on the right. Anyone know how I can go about fixing this?
Thanks
David
