I'm using Intel Matrix Storage Manager (v8.7.0.107) in ICH10R. Two 1.5 TB drives are mirrored (RAID 1). I live in an area where power interruptions can be a problem. Prior to my use of RAID, I ran a file consistency check (chkdsk on Windows 7 Ultimate x64) when sudden outages shutdown my computer. I've read that running chkdsk on a RAID system is a problem and should not be done. If this is true, then what is the best method for insuring file consistency after recovering from unexpected power failures?
