GfxUI crashes and low Windows Experience Index score

I have a Toshiba T230 laptop with an embedded Intel HD graphics chip. I am on the latest drivers, i.e. Graphics driver version 15.21.5.64.2266 (8.15.10.2266) for Intel® integrated graphics.

I have two problems with these drivers:

1) In my Intel Graphics Properties applet, whenever I select "Advanced Mode" the process GfxUI.exe crashes. Nothing unusual in my Event Logs.

2) My Windows Experience Index score is very low for category "Desktop performance for Windows Aero". It's a low 2.4.

Are these issues known and have fixes planned in future drivers? When can we expect future drivers for the Intel HD graphics chip?
