Win 7 hangs up every time during install at the "Windows Starting" screen.
I took the SSD and installed it in another computer and loaded Win 7 with no problems.
I then removed the SSD and put it into the comp. with the DX58SO mobo.
I check the bios and yes the SSD is recognized on the applicable SATA port.
On boot up I get the following message:
"No bootable device..."
Prior to this, I was able to load Win XP on the same computer with the same hardware.
So my question is, is there a particular setting in the bios that I need to be aware of that is particular to successfully installing Win 7 for this mobo?
Windows is seeing a different ESN. ( electronic serial number. )
Okay, so how do I go about correcting this?
