video card confusion

I have a old computer that i got for free with a intel d845gvsr motherboard that the on board video is shot on. I need to install a video card, the intel specs call for a apg video card but the board has pci slots. what video card do i use.....apg or pci? HELP!!!!!

If your motherboard actually looks like this picture than you have no AGP slots and need an PCI video card, assuming that you are correct that it is your on-board video.

I am by no means telling you what specific card to buy, or what website to purchase from, but here is a link that will take you to a website that is pre-searched for PCI video cards. Any one of these SHOULD work.
