Thanks for getting back.......but, I've been on that page, and there's no help there for owners of the D975XBX2 using Windows 7.
My poor audio quality is with every source of sound emanating from my Intel board. CD.....DVD......headphones.....all programs.
For Intel to not even be able to SUGGEST a 'hard' cure or at least some options (roll back something/alternate driver/third party solution/add a sound card/use Vista/.........something, ANYTHING......is reprehensible.
How many of these boards did the company sell? Five or ten? I think perhaps a few more.
Please escalate to your supervisor.
