This is really lame Intel, customers have the right to remove payment option and then re-enter for further purchases. Yea you take security serious but that doesnt make it ok. had i known i couldnt take my information off the site i would have never signed up. Just make it and option to take the info off and im sure many people would be much happier and feel safer about making purchases with you. even some low ball companies allow you to remove your info.
I also purchased Angry Birds and had to create an account assuming that I could remove my CC information after I purchasedit. I DO NOT WANT YOU TO STORE MY CC INFORMATION. PLEASE REMOVE IMMEDIATELY! I understand that Angry Birds will no longer work. What a rip off!
Perhaps you should think about an option to pay with PayPal. It's safe and secure and peace of mind to the not having cc information stored elsewhere.
PLEASE - Remove my account.
Your credit card security information and privacy is extremely important to Intel. The Intel AppUp(SM) center uses an industry standard payment processing service from an industry leading payment processing vendor to collect and process your credit card payment information. The payment processor utilizes industry standard data security measures as required by Visa*, MasterCard* or other payment networks. For your convenience and to facilitate a quick and easy app purchasing experience, Intel AppUp uses a tokenized link that associates your AppUp account to your credit card payment information collected and stored by our payment processor. Neither Intel nor its employees directly handle any of your credit card information at any point in this process. We are happy to work with you on your request to remove this tokenized link. However, once we have removed this link, you will be required to re-enter your credit card payment information before you can complete another purchase.
Please send us the e-mail address you used to register with the Intel AppUp(SM) center. That will help us to locate your account. You can send us an e-mail from here: http://www.intel.com/partner/support/appup/index.htm
