      I have a old 915gev mb I want to reactivate but I need memory. I found some ddr2 800, and I was wondering if it's will be downward compatible with the required 533mhz?  Any help in this matter would be a great help.  Thanks, Paul

          Hello;
          These are the memory requirements for the D915GEV:
          * 1.8 V (only) DDR2 SDRAM DIMMs with gold-plated contacts
          * Unbuffered, single-sided or double-sided DIMMs with the following restriction: Double-sided DIMMs with x16 organization are not supported
          * 4 GB maximum total system memory
          * Minimum total system memory: 128 MB
          * Non-ECC DIMMs     * Serial Presence Detect
          * DDR2 533 MHz or DDR2 400 MHz SDRAM DIMMs
          The desktop board does not support DDR2 800 Mhz memory. If you are planning to buy memory for this desktop board I recommend to check the list of tested memory here:
