did you check with same model mother board and try other board its ddr ddr2 ddr3 which ram you bring
are you which ram support your mother board . check and try.
No, I haven't tried it on same model mother board. But I have tried it on ASUS K8V-VM Ultra motherboad and it's wokring fine. Motherboard support only DDR ram.
Bro, You need to test both module saparately, on the intel mobo, ensure the dram voltage is correct, sometime 2 module with different speed can't work together.
You should always as a best practice use Matched Ram sticks , So you do not get problems like different Frq. or different Volts , Some ram sticks are backwards compatable some are NOT.
I use both 2x1GB DDR 400Mhz which are same brand and same frequency ram.
I found following link which might want to say that PC2700 and PC3200 not work properly on this motherboard.
My both ram are same freq. and same voltage. I don't know it still not wok on this motherboard. If I use 266 Mhz RAM, it works perfectly. I don't know waht's the prblem with 400Mhz.
