Typically when you install the Intel(R) Active System Console it would install all the required software to run the application. Have you tried re-installing the software ? Check the release notes for more informationa as well as the User Guide for install information. There is also an available demo on how to install the software which maybe useful.
As far as the issue you are having with your board (unexpected restarts), I suggest you run the System Information Tool & look at the System Event Log for clues on why your system is behaving that way.
Hello, I've been vieiwing the event log for... a while on this one! I'm getting lots of stop and double fault errors.
I thought this tool was the best available for looking at intel hardware... is there a better tool? I've installed this and uninstalled several times, and the service just won't install in the auto install.
Would you be able to attach the SEL so that people in this forum can help you diagnose what your system is encountering.
Also, the Intel Active System Console provides you with a dashboard of the health of your system, while the System Information Tool provides a way to extract specific information that can be used to troubleshoot issues with your server. So in essence, each tool has a specific function for the action that can be performed.
