What do you mean by "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"
I means exaclty what I post.
Some boards being sold do not have qconnects in the boxes the motherboard is shipped in.
Simple as that. Some have them and some do not but as of lately 50 of these intel boxes with new motherboards in them do not have
the qconnects supplied in the box.
What is the determining factor why some have them and some do not?
I think some quality control is in order in the packaging dept or something.
Is there a way to get them for free from intel maybe since they were not shipped inside?
Personally I think mayeb only DELUXE or Pro edition of the motherboards have the qconnect?
Can anyone shed light on this issue?
Thanks for anyone supplying new information.
What is a Q connector?
If wikipedia is correct, You are asking Intel why they don't ship an Asus connector ?
Asus sells then on their site http://estore.asus.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=3561
If you have an Intel part number from what you are calling a qconnector, I am sure we can cross reference it to figure out what you are looking for.
Thx doc, that was my point and AFAIK wikipedia is right, Intel have never done Qconnectors, it is an ASUS part. Hence inachu, i did not say "WHAT DO YOU MEAN" I said " WHAT BOARDS DO YOU MEAN" therefore asking for a specific model so i could check it out for you. even as you say yourself, only pro or deluxe...they are ASUS models not INTEL models!!!!!!!!! why would intel supply them?
