    Intel Q965

      Hi there!

I do have a Lenovo M55 8810 AD7 desktop. I would like to know, what type of motherboard does it have, so i should upgrade its PCU. It says it has an Intel Q965 express family chipset. Now it runs a Pentium D Pressler  2,8GHZ. The serial number of the motherboard is 43C0063. But is it a ....CO, ....GF, or ....WC version? I need to find this information for compatibility issues http://processormatch.intel.com/COMPDB/SearchResult.aspx?BoardName=q965&Lang=en-US

      Thanks.

          Hi,

It has an INtel chipset but that doesn't mean that it will necessarily have an intel board, and if it dfoes have an intel board 99% it will have an oem intel board so you wont find it on the intel site.

As to finding out teh model, you could see hwat it says in teh BIOS, ort look on teh motherboard directly, maybe some software like everest. other wise you might need to contact lenovo or find out some otehr way what cpu can be upgraded
