Help: HDMI with i5 661 and GA H55M-USB3 board

Hi,

I have a HTPC with the following set up:

Gigabyte GA H55M-USB3

Intel i5 661

http://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?p=218965 Corsair CMPSU-550VX 550W

http://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?p=505886 Corsair XMS3 DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 2x2GB

I have installed all components fine and connected to my Zepto 42" via HDMI for installation.

BIOS setup was fine and also installation of Windows 7 Ultimate until last reboot when Windows starts for the first time everything is fine until the desktop should show. Now the screen turns blank and I cannot get the HDMI port on again. Connect using D-SUB and everything is fine.

Then I move to install chipset drivers-ok. After that I turn to intel graphics drivers and they install fine and before reboot I check HDMI which works fine. Press reboot and everything is good until the desktop should show up, it does not and I cannot get it going in any settings.

Try reinstalling drivers but same scenario: HDMI fine after install but before reboot "for new drivers to take effect".

Please what am I doing wrong as the HDMI port is clearly working and I have even tried a 1080p movie before reboot and it is fine so HD viewing is fine and sound through HDMI is fine.

Thank you for reading and possibly helping me find a solution to my problem!

Problem probably solved as it works through my receiver/HDMI switch. The TV seems to have been the problem and not the MB or CPU in this case.

Solved my problem at least by using a HDMI switch. The TV seems to be the problem for some reason.
