    D865GLC and KVR400X64C3A SDRAM

      Hi there,

Hopefully somebody can help me out with this one.

I was running 1G of RAM using Kingston KVR400X64C3AK2/1G kit without issue. I wanted to upgrade the RAM so I bought a KVR400X64C3AK2/2G kit which is supposed to work on the D865GLC board.

For whatever reason, the system will not POST with this new RAM. If I place the original 1G kit in, it works fine. If I add the 2G kit in as well, it shows the video card messgae and again will not POST.

I've set the BIOS to use auto settings for the memory, and I've tried manually entering the settings but to no avail.

      Here are the specs:

      Motherboard

      • D865GLC AA-C28906-403
      • Bios BF86510A.86A.0077.P25

      Ram:

      • Kingston KVR400X64C3AK2/2G
      • CL3-3-3
      • Standard 128M X 64 Non-ECC 400MHz 184-pin Unbuffered DIMM (DDR, 2.6V, CL3, Gold)
      • 64M x 8-bit x 4 bank

      Anyone have any ideas?

      Thanks in advance,

      Mike
