    Possible duo core ?

    sinappanis

My computer recently stopped sending a signal to my monitor for no reason at all. I haven't installed anything new to the computer. I have tried switching the video card out with another and the motherboard as well. Yes I have checked if the monitor is plugged in. It works fine on my old computer so I figure it can't be the monitor that's not working. Basically I start my computer and all the stuff turns on inside it(fans and lights and stuff) but the monitor says no signal and just goes to sleep.
Is it possible this is caused from a bad cpu?

Right now my computer is running the 3.0GHz duo core wollfdale. 6mb l2 cache 1066 fsb
the video card is an nvidia gts 250.

GIGABYTE GA-EP43-UD3L LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard

I have only had the computer for 1.5 years

If any other info is needed let me know. I'd like to get this issue resolved quickly!
