ACPI 2.0 in Core 2 Duo

Hi,

I'm using a COM Express module (AMRPO's COM-840)

According to the data sheet, this module supports S3 and ACPI 2.0

The module contains 1.06 GHz Core2Duo CPU.

But according to Core2Duo PDF (31674505.pdf), this CPU supports C0 to C4 power states.

The PDF does not mention ACPI 2.0 compatibility. But the PDF lists the C0 to C4 states.

What is the relationship between S3 and Cx ?

Is ACPI 2.0 a feature of the CPU, or a feature of the chipset ?
