older graphic controller and Windows 7 - XPDM

Hi,

We are using old embedded mainboards with the 82852GM graphic controller.

As written on Intel, there are no drivers for Windows 7 for these older chipsets (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18576&lang=eng http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18576&lang=eng)

If I follow the link on that page to the FAQ: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-030907.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-030907.htm I understand that the XPDM should work on Windows 7 for my controller.

Where can I find this driver, is it the Windows XP driver?

How can I install it? Windows 7 does not seem to let me install the XP drivers.

Our emvbedded system has an integrated LCD screen and an external VGA port. With teh standard VGA adapter drivers in Windows 7, I cannot set the VGA output as second display, nor can I change it's resolution, nor can I set it to extended desktop. Things that I can do under Windows XP.

I am not looking for the aero and 3d stuff, just this basic functionality.

Thank you
