What will happen if I try to use Intel Turbo Bost on an i3 proccessor?

If I go here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3052&DwnldID=19105&lang=eng http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3052&DwnldID=19105&lang=eng and download and run the ITB gadget, will it really work with the lowest-end i3 processor, or will it tell me that it can't be installed? Why won't ITB work with i3? also, nice job with the AppUpp, but try to make it more all-laptop-centric, not just netbooks. you could also add it as an alternative to this new Lion app store that apple brags about.

Also, is the lowest i3 multi-core?

The Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor does not support Intel® Core™ i3 processors. This utility is intended for use with only processors that feature Intel® Turbo Boost Technology. The monitor does not enable turbo boost technology, it only shows (demonstrates, monitors ...etc) that the turbo boost technology feature is actually working.

Here is an example screenshot of what you might expect if you try to install the Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor on a system that does not have a supported processor:
