The 6.xxx driver is for Windows Vista, and the 7.xxx driver is for Windows 7. It seems the Intel Driver Update Utility is giving you the wrong driver for your O/S. If you really need to upgrade your onboard NIC driver, this is the latest: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3030&DwnldID=19403&ProductFamily=Desktop+Boards&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+4+Series+Chipset+Boards&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Desktop+Board+DG41TYeng
Thank you Gize,
I have download the new driver using the link you provided and everything went OK.
After successfully installing the new driver I run again 'Intel Driver Update Utility' and ... again is offering me to upgrade to a wrong driver.
I hope somebody fix this BUG because there could probably be more people with the same problem out there ... but they don´t know what to do or haven't got time enough to register - question - check this forum ... and this stuff.
Thank you very much.
