Current Firmware Build Version: 0.6.100.09212007.7007
The model of the modules is MFS5520VI.
The modules we are using the Intel E5520 Processor.
The memory used is Kingston KVR1333D3D4R9S/4G
We are using three modules.
The first module with two processors and 16G of RAM.
The second module with one processor and 16GB of RAM.
The third module with one processor and 8GB of RAM.

First of all, "SPP" means it's a Silver Pre-Production Engineering Sample. That is, you may not get technical or warranty support from Intel for this system. If you get this system from an Intel employee, I'd suggest you contact him for support.
Now talking about the error, obviously the firmware is too old to recognize the MFS5520VI compute module. Before you can upgrade the firmware to latest version, you'll need to install Unified Firmware Update P1.0, which is not available on Download Center because it's pre-installed on production systems. Again I suggest you check with your Intel contact and see if he can get you a copy of Unified Firmware Update P1.0.
Follow the update instructions in the firmware package strictly, or upgrade may fail and cause unexpected behavior.
