I have a notebook with the 965 graphics chipset and I would like to watch computer/Internet movies on a HDTV. As far as I know, the 965 has the TV-out feature. However, it has only a VGA port.
Do all HDTV's have VGA ports? If they do, can I simply use a VGA cable to connect the laptop to it and will I get proper video and audio on the TV?
I've seen references to some graphics card utility that provides a Clone option for this purpose -- do I need one and does Intel provide it?
If the VGA is not an option, is there any other way to connect from the VGA to some other HDTV connector and get decent video and audio?
Any help will be appreciated.

Incidentally, I would also appreciate any help in connecting to an analog TV.
