I have an HP Pavillion a1640n computer with an Intel Raid controller built in. The computer had 2 1 TB drives, and one drive failed. when attempting to install the replacement drive, the motherboard was damage, so the computer is no longer usable. The RAID 1 configuration had two volumes.
I put the good drive in a USB external drive enclosure, and attempted to read files.. Everything on Volume 0 seems to be OK, but the Disk Management
Applet shows the space following the Volume 0 drives us labeled "Unallocated."
So, the question is -- is there any way to recover the Volume 1 data?
Thanks in advance.
Raid 1 is a mirror array. he same data is written to both drives.
All of you data should be present on the suriving HDD..
