    Drivers for DG33

    razor

Hi there,I have purchased INTEL CORE 2 QUAD processor in June 2008.I installed Windows 7. Installing it produced a Humming (or Buzzing) noise in my speakers.I know Win7 comes with in-built drivers. But is there a driver of DG33 for Windows 7?

I have a 32-Bit system Can I Change it to 64-Bit by merely installing a 64-Bit Installaton CD or do I need to make any hardware changes?

I have 2 GB RAM,planning to add another 4GB but WinXP 32-Bit supports only 4GB. How to change to 64-Bit?

      PLZ Help!!!!!!!

          Hi,

In regards to your inquiries, we have the following comments/suggestions:

          1. "Is there a driver of DG33 for Windows 7?"

The only drivers available for boards based on the Intel(R) 3 Series Chipset Family, under Windows* 7, right now, are those found here:

          http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx

Please, know "availability of Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit drivers may be limited for some Intel Desktop Boards. All board features (audio, video, LAN, etc.) may not be supported." (qtd. in http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-008326.htm).

          2. "I have a 32-Bit system. Can I Change it to 64-Bit by merely installing a 64-Bit Installaton CD or do I need to make any hardware changes?"

I confirm any of our Intel(R) 3 Series Chipset Family-based boards support both, Windows* XP 64-bit and Windows* Vista* 64-bit.  No hardware changes are needed; just make sure the processor does support Intel(R) Extended Memory 64 Technology (EM64T):

Note: You can find the supported processor list here:

See answer# 2 above.  As for the Critical Driver Installation order for Windows* XP (32 or 64-bit), please, refer to the following URL:
