I am upgrading a t2330 1.6/533/1 in my laptop. I need a temp fix until I have the funds to step up to the t9500. My system is a socket p that maxes out a 800. What is better a t6500 - 2.1/800/2 or a t7300 - 2.0/800/4? I use this laptop primarily for web design, and when you have 3 or 4 adobe apps open things get slow.
When I do this upgrade I do plan to add ram. I have pc5300 2g now. Is it worth replacing both sticks to go to 4mb with pc-6400 800 or should I just keep one 5300 a save money. Any idea on speed difference?
Thanks,
Dave

Hello;
You can compare between the Intel Core2 Duo Processor T7300 and the Intel Core2 Duo Processor T6500 here:
http://ark.intel.com/Compare.aspx?ids=29760,39311 http://ark.intel.com/Compare.aspx?ids=29760,39311,
One of the main differences is that the T7300 does support Intel Virtualization Technology
Now, in regards the memory upgrade I do recommend to check on tested memory list of your laptop for the best memory that will work on your system
