Trying to check if there is any update for my Intel Wireless Card 5300.

Blank for me too.
Tested on 2 different PC's.
Windows XP SP3 x86 - Blank, nothing displayed/detected
Windows 7 SP1 x64 - Blank, nothing displayed/detected
In both cases, I removed the agent and reinstalled manually (although the manual download appears to be a different version to the auto install activex component since the manual download is upgraded by the auto install one you can't install over the top of the auto one with the manual one as it complains about a newer version being installed).
Please fix Intel, it's a useful tool. Never had problems with it before this last week or so....
