Intel DX58SO Sigmatel (IDT) vs. Realtek

    fullbodydenim

Anyone know how you can tell which board has the older, original Sigmatel (IDT) audio codec vs. the newer boards which have the Realtek codec onboard?

Do the boxes with the skeleton on the front represent the older, original boards which have the Sigmatel CODEC?

      Thanks

          Hello,

I do have an old list of codec available on the previous Intel (R) Desktop Boards.

For any new boards, the only way to find the information will be to consult the Technical Product Specification of the particular board. (TPS)
