Dual Boot and trim on 1 partition?

If I set up a dual boot Windows XP and Windows 7, will the trim on Windows 7 (that automatically runs by iteslf) take care of it also on the windows xp partition?  Sorry if this is a repost, I tried a search and was not able to find the answer.  Thanks

Windows 7 trim will only work when running Win 7.  So, if you delete a file from Win 7, it will be trimmed.  If you delete it from XP, then it will not be trimmed.  You can always run the Intel SSD Toolbox to clean up anything left untrimmed by XP.
