Windows 7 shouldn't need drivers for teh dvd for the installation, if it does you prob have got sata as AHCI or RAID, if you have try as IDE. The other otion is to install it from a USB.
In terms of once you get teh OS installed your best bet it to let windows updated update and see if it finds at least a generic driver.
Thanks for the answer, I´ll follow your advise. But I already install Windows 7 from my Vista sesion, after everything smooth when I'm on Windows 7 sesion on my computer windows I only see my HD´s but no DVD devices. I download some drivers from Gateway web page but doesn´t work to recognize them. On Hardware devices I found I´m missing some driver for PCI comunication and anther one. I think I need a Windows 7 driver for my motherboard but I still looking for it, just Vista driver for my board.
If you haven't already try installing the vista drivers, it does work sometimes.
