Will the PSU support the HD5770 that card probably draws alot of current??
600 watt PSU.
Do not use this RAM with your DH57JG:
G.SKILL Ripjaw 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Model F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL
I replaced the ram stick above with the two below from Crucial.
Crucial 2GB DDR3 CT25664BA1067
The system is perfectly stable now.
FYI: I ran Memtest for 3 hours with the G.skill ram and it never showed an error, yet the system was unstable when installing or running windows.
The Ram you put in your sys is PC3 8500, should work just make sure you have volts set at 1.5 , you can use DDR3-1333, But thats a different part # yet in Crucial , it's CT25664BA1339. thats if you want to use the faster RAM , still 1.5 volt.
I'm still not sure why but none of Intel's boards like 10666, they all work on 10600. I ask a guy at Gskil he could'nt realy explian it but thats what he said and I belive him I've run into the 666 problem before.
