Intel My Wifi Technology keeps disconnecting

I just purchased a Sony VAIO laptop and find that my wireless connection keeps disonnecting. My Intel Wifi Technology keeps popping up telling me my wifi switch has been turned off. Does anyone know what's causing this and how it can be fixed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue and contacted Sony via online help and they had me install a driver that was apparently missing. The driver is not available on the internet. That resolved the issue for me.
