DG33TL, new BIOS releases & Yorkfield support

    timofort

      Hi.

      I purchased a boxed DG33TL 2 years ago.

Since March 2010, I am running on Windows 7 x64 (Windows Vista x64 previously) with last BIOS version of this motherboard (0572 version).

I have no trouble with, except a message in Windows Event Viewer, which says :
The platform firmware has corrupted memory across the previous system power transition. Please check for updated firmware for your system.
(Event ID : 12 - Source : HAL (hardware abstraction layer))

This happens when I resume my PC from S3 state.

Is this really a BIOS trouble as the windows message claims ?

I also specify I suffered two BSOD since I have installed Windows 7 x64, twice during a S3 resume.

My DG33TL has always guarantee. However, Intel has classified this motherboard as legacy. (but not the DP35DP which is almost similar ???)

Does Intel provide a new BIOS version of DG33TL/DP35DP ?

      Thanks.
