i have a lap tob and model is VAIO fz290 n4. i am going to up garde cpu and the chipsets laptob is PM 965 and cpu is t7250

now can i thc cpu up garde to t9300?

You need to check whether the BIOS has teh microcode. There are a couple of way to do this:

A buy the CPU and test

B contact Sony.

C find someone else that has done teh upgrade

D See teh higher version of you laptop and what CPUs there are using.
