We have 2 x IBM x3650 M3 boxes with 2 x PCI-Express Intel Pro/1000 PT Quad Port NICS connected to a Cisco 4500-series switch. We are running the latest Intel Driver Package (15.4) and have created 2 x 2Gbps LACP trunks from each server to the switch. The trunks come up and Windows reports 2.0Gbps, however, when we test the link we never receive more than 1Gbps of throughput.
I am testing with iperf and I have tested from multiple clients and even to multiple destination ports. That 1Gbps of throughput is neatly divided by the number of clinets or the number of simultaneous test run, even from the 2nd trunked server to the 1st.
What am I missing here?

My research is leading me down the path of this being a Cisco problem. Specifically, enabling load balancing on the port channel. Thoughts?
