For Windows right click "Computer" > "Manage" > "Device Manager" > "Proccessors"
thanks for the answer, however this only tells the number of execution threads (or cores) of the processor, which is different form the number of MCM. Some processors could have multiple cores but they are built as monolithic.
How can you identify this?
