What kind of drives did you have, and what's the new one?
Thanks for the reply. I just got in this morning, and sometime over the past 12 hours the drive rebuild worked. I still do not understand why it kept failing though and I need to as I have two more drives to replace. Also, why would this rebuild not show up in the Device Progress page?
The old drives are Seagates (ST3300831AS). The new drives are also Seagates (ST3500418AS)
I'm glad it finally worked! I've seen the same thing with differing drives; even using the same drives, but with different firmware.
Unfortunately, there's no way around the syncronizing problem that I know of, other than to buy backup hard drives at the same time you buy the primary drives.
