    lew_jean

Nothing has been changed on the system prior to this, it is intermitting, I can turn on the computer, I receive 3 beeps, after approx 1 - 2 min the computer turns off and reboots, Some time I will get the 3 beep, and I have to turn off the computer. other times I get The system BIOS has detected unsuccessful post attempt" Press Y to enter BIOS set-up. save the computer reboots and now operational

I have replaced the 3 sticks of 2G ram, install a replacement BIOS battery, OS WIndows 7, this is a very intermitting issue

I get the same sporadic message eminating from cold boots and restarts. All BIOS settings are pretty much stock, except for XMP RAM profile being set in BIOS. It's not the result of BIOS updates, because I was getting the same, sporadic, messages from the previous two Intel BIOS versions. I suspect that it may flow from poorly implimented 64BIT operating system and driver codes. From poking around on the internets, it appears this problem dates back many motherboards, systems and processors! Can someone please help us out here.
