That's my conclusion. I've scanned the board with an IR thermometer and with my finger. I can find no hot spots.
On my board, sitting on the kitchen table, I see temps around 30C in the vicinity of the VR and temps around 23C in the vicinity of the memory. The BIOS agrees with me on the memory temps but shows VR temps to be 25C higher than I find.
Anyone agree or disagree? Anyone know where the VR temperature sensor is located?
Live chat says if you have no other problems, then your computer is working fine. If the IDU alarm for VR temperature goes off, set the alarm threshold higher.
Live chat won't say the temperature reported by the BIOS (and IDU) is wrong, they just say to ignore it.
