Onboard GMA x4500HD, linux(ubuntu) driver support

Im unable to get the intel VGA working under ubuntu server 10.4.

After the command startx the screen will blackout.

Ubuntu desktop 10.4 (livecd) same story.

Ubuntu it self is running proper when adding a Nvidia 6800VGA with the onboard VGA disabled, witch is not the solution.

Ive tried to let ubunut reconfigure the xorg, no results.

What is Intel going to do with Linux support? only M$oft drivers are listed

Unfortunately Intel(R) does not provide directly drivers for Linux* operating systems for your chipset. The drivers should be provided by your Linux* flavor developer.
