    DP965LT Fan Speed control

Hi. I built this computer a few years ago and have recently been trying to learn more about cooling my computer because it was running hot. For some reason I can't control the fan speeds. I've tried updating the BIOS and changing the fan settings, googling, Speed Fan, installing Intel Desktop Utilities and changing the minimum rpm for the sensors. Nothing seems to work.

I only have 3 options under Fan Control. Fan detection, Cpu processor dampening, Cpu Processor Response. I've tried changing these 3 settings and it doesn't seem to affect the rpm at all.

If you go to this link for reviews of the board, someone specifically says they messed around with the bios and were able to change the temperature/fan speed controls. It's at the bottom, last review by JP. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16813121036&Pagesize=100

Can anyone help me to figure this out?

I guess I should also mention I'm using a Centurion 5 case that has an 80x80mm intake fan on the front of it and a 120x120mm exhaust fan on the back of it. I'm also running an E6600 intel dual core processor. Here's a pic of my fans' rpm and my temps with speedfan. http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/5343/46928222.jpg
