DH57DD doesn't boot, hangs before POST

      Hi everybody,
I have problems with my newly built PC. It's an Intel DH57DD motherboard with an Intel Core i5 750 CPU. Memory is a Corsair TW3X4G1333C9A twin-set and a TW3X4G1333C9DHX twin-set. Graphics is onboard, no other components are connected.

When I switch on the power, the CPU cooler fan starts but the monitor stays black. No POST beep, no possibility to enter the BIOS setup. The PC is automatically shut down after 20-30 seconds. This behaviour holds true for either of the four modules.
If I remove all memory bars, POST indicates a memory problem (3x beep).
I tried to recover the BIOS, but since the monitor was black all the time, I don't know if it worked.

Is there a known incompatibility between my board and the memory? Is there a way to verify that the BIOS recovery did succeed while I have these problems? Does anybody have an idea, what the problem could be?

      Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
