Hi,
I'm from EU and I've recently bought a boxed, factory sealed / unopened (!) i7 920 processor with batch number 3931A318 from ebay from a seller in Austria. The date on the processor says it was made on "10/04/09" in Costa Rica.
It says it has 3 years warranty. My question is when does the timer starts? Is it from when I purchased it from ebay or the 10/04/09? What proof of purchase would you need in this case? (I paid with paypal through ebay checkout).

Hi teh warranty starts form when you purchase the product.
For a warranty return in the EU, you will need an actual proof of purchase a paypal checkout screen shot won't be valid.
