OK I know its outdated!! I am hoping to persuade my employer to upgrade my desktop computer and am trying to get some definite productivity figures to put foreward. This cpu is listed in Intel's documentation as having 64 bit instruction set and having Intel 64 advanced technology. I have tried to install windows 7 home premium 64 bit to give a comparison between 32 and 64 bit performance but it will not load does anyonr have any suggestions?

Thanks

My mistake. I forgot to set to boot from DVD drive.

Now its loaded and running. I will see if it makes any speed difference.
